Privacy information
Pre-release draft — 28 October 2026. This page explains the intended handling of competitor and partnership enquiries in the pre-release site. It is not the final legal notice. The server-side registration gate controls whether submissions are accepted; when the gate is closed, the service rejects submissions and does not store the enquiry.
Information an enquiry may contain
If the server-side gate is enabled, competitor enquiries may contain name, email address, country or region, competitor type, competition format, discipline of interest and optional notes. Partnership enquiries may contain name, work email, country or region, organisation, role, partnership type and message. A technical rate-limit record uses a one-way hash derived from the request IP address. The site also receives standard hosting and security request metadata.
Do not provide sensitive personal information, identity documents, financial information, health information, passwords or confidential business data. An enquiry is not event registration, a marketing subscription, or a sponsorship agreement.
Purpose, storage and retention
Enquiry information is intended to be used to respond to the request and assess relevant competition or partnership next steps. When enabled, the intake endpoint requires a privacy acknowledgement, validates fields, restricts request size and origin, applies a basic rate limit, and records a notice-version identifier. The configured Cloudflare D1 database is intended for the preview environment only; this does not establish that all deployment settings are correct or that the service is legally compliant.
The draft operational target is to retain routine enquiries for up to 12 months after last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required to handle a dispute or meet a legal obligation. Before submissions are enabled, an authorised operator must confirm the actual retention and deletion process and the access permissions. This page does not yet provide a verified automated deletion request workflow.
Service providers, children and launch controls
Cloudflare provides site hosting and, when configured, database services. The final notice must confirm applicable service providers, processing locations, cross-border disclosures and the organisation's approved contact and complaints pathway. Because the competition may attract minors, age-appropriate information and any required parent or guardian consent must be implemented before accepting entries from minors.
Questions and requests
For general organisational information or to request access, correction or deletion of an enquiry, visit Tech 4 Humanity. The request pathway and responsible privacy contact still need to be formally confirmed before public intake opens. This draft must be reviewed and approved before live registration.
